Modular Devices, Inc. Announces a family of 100 Watt Rad Hard DC-DC Converters with Active Current Sharing, for parallel applications:

 

Shirley, NY (May 16, 2025) – Modular Devices, Inc., a US based leader in reliable power conversion solutions, is proud to introduce a family of 100 Watt rad hard DC-DC Converters intended for space applications where up to five 100 watt converters are paralleled to increase total power output capability.

Meet the New Models:

The ability to deliver power between 100 watts and 500 watts addresses applications that require more power than 100 watts from a single converter, but require less power than a 500 watt converter.

Available standard single output ratings at 100 watts are 12 VDC, 15 VDC, and 28 VDC. Non-standard output voltages are available.

Key Features:

  • Input EMI filter conforms to MIL-STD-461C
  • Outputs have common mode spike filters
  • Magnetically coupled feedback
  • No external components needed for paralleling
  • Modern GaN FET design for efficiency and robust radiation capability
